The BMW 1-Series is just about to be sold here in the U.S., meanining tha multimedia overkill is just about to happen. With automakers becoming more interesting in capturing buyer’s attention, the game is getting more high tech, and less reality based. BMW brass has realized the trend - and the ultimate result is a beautified version of how the 1-Series is made at the factory. 

Click the jump to view the 30-second spot, that has the tag-line “Makes you want to get behind the wheel.” While the TV commercial might do that for us, the crystal sharp BMW chassis and smooth 300-hp twin-turbo inline-six has us drooling for a chance behind the steering wheel.
