What would happen if the BMW 135i coupe was compared against an E46 M3 coupe and then the 335i coupe?

Edmunds published an intriguing sample video of the tight competition featuring an E46 BMW M3 against a 135i coupe and 335i coupe. The 135i and 335i have the same engine; the new 3.0-liter inline 6 cylinder twin turbo pushing out 300 horsepower. Though the 0-60 calculations weren’t quite right for Edmund’s M3 test, it’s obvious that the M3 has an advantage against  the 135i coupe and the 335i coupe. The trial goes to demonstrate that the M3 coupe had the best track time while the 135i coupe and 335i coupe are still competitive, deserving a close look among enthusiasts.
